Needing an ask for something
I like to be polite
Not to bark or bargain
But simply to request
Should you acquiesce
To my humble behest
I should with no duress
Tell you that you’re the best
For one who helps another
With their simplest need
One who sees each other
Us; as the selfsame seed
In this God’s grand garden
We little seedlings sprout
Dew and dirt and insect plumed
Together we’ll make mirth
