I'd better just jot down a quick synopsis of what's gooing on currently, i.e. "log" my status. Making tea, and watching a movie. 9pm late April. Beep. The tea timer has rung. I return with hot beverage. I had a jar of cold tea that I was already drinking, but I suppose I was thinking ahead when I decided to brew a fresh warm cup. My tea process is as such: I heat tap water in my electric kettle to somewhere between 185 and 195 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile I grab a mug and a jar and a jar lid and a strainer, and I line these items up on a tea towel on the counter in front of the kettle. In the strainer I pack a bowl of green tea and/or some exotic flowers and maybe some black tea or some root vegetable matter or a bit of dried fruit but also perhaps some fresh fruit such as strikes my fancy. I place the strainer packed with tea atop the mug and when the water is temped, I pour it slowly over the tea until liquid fills to the top, so that the leaves and/or other materials are fully wet or submerged. Then I set a timer, usually for 90 seconds. At the beep, I then move the strainer from the mug to the jar and brew tea in the jar in accordance with the same procedure as with the mug. I then drink the hot cup of tea and put the jar in the fridge after it cools down a bit. Each teatime yields a hot cup and a cold cup of tea. The movie is not very good so far.
